Moser M88 Thoughts and Opinions

Hi All,

Unfortunately my rear end is showing heavy corrosion. I've pulled it to sand blast, but there is a spot with about 20 to 30% thinning in the wall as well as one of the spring perches is corroded through. I've looked around for used 8.8's, but in my neck of the woods in the North East the corrosion issues are going to be similar. I am considering a Moser M88 possibly in-lieu-of shipping another used rear end. I really don't need a fully assembled rear end only the core. I am also considering sleeving the thinned area (where the sticker from the factory was) and making spring perches similar to what Moser has on theirs.

  1. I am wondering if any one else is running this rear end and if so, how did you have it built out when shipped to you? (Do you like it?)
  2. Is anyone else running the style spring perches that Moser is using with divorced adjustable springs?
