hey guys,

My car shifts either shifts smoothly with a minor grind sound goin from 2nd to 3rd or it does not enter 3rd when i quick shift.

I have blowfish bracket, whiteline bushing, and ss clutch line.

i feel like the 3rd gear of this trans is horrible and can be damaged quickly. So is it ok if i feel minor grind sound when i quickshift 2nd to 3rd ?

Is there any ways to make my trans better ?? im addicted to powershifting, and would like to make my trans withstand the powershifting..

many thanks,

Hate to say it but unless you get it rebuilt by some of the companies/shops that do custom work, you've done almost everything you can do. My 3rd went so it's getting rebuilt this winter. Bronze shift forks, bronze shift pads, and some other minor bits are what is being done to hopefully make it last.

Yes time for a rebuild. Third and fifth gears seem to be the weak link. There are a few shops here in the US that sell upgrade parts. Your shifting habits destroyed your trans not because of the trans but because the clutch can't handle high revs and doesn't fully disengage. You'll want to install a quality clutch when you have your trans rebuilt. They are:

Ben Calimer often has rebuilt transmissions that he sells using parts from the two above.

The OEM clutch is "Race Inspired" not "Race Capable" ::)

So what u think would be best solution...

Upgrading the mt82 internals with a clutch or just going for the magnum t56 conversion with a clutch ?

Keep the MT-82 and up grade internals with a GOOD Clutch is the way to go.
The MT-82 is a good tranny. Its the clutch that makes the trans seem like its a POS. Mt-82 has great gearing to boot!!
