My new Shift Knob

Hi all,

Well, after several different options, I wet with the Carbing aluminum shift knob in gunmetal finish. I was a super easy fit, and required only four standard washers to space up the shift boot upper collar to fit perfectly against the bottom of the knob. BTW, my factory knob came of with a very simple twist. It did not have a very much blue locktite on it's threads.

The feel and reach are great, just about a perfect fit for me.

Nice clean look.

I had the same luck with my shift knob. Gripped it with both hands and twist. The pain others have gone threw to remove their knobs makes me glad I missed that problem.

Hi,

No, it's not engraved on top, just a smooth, rounded surface. The lower portion of the knob is knurled with a fine texture knurling. The bottom has a logo embossed onto the edge which says "Carbing."

It has a great feel, sort of a 'balance' to it. It is also available in other anodized colors.
