Need Floor Jack Recommendation

I looking for a non-Aluminum, non-Chinese imported, floor jack that's going to last. I'm looking for one to lift the Boss, I guess maybe a 2 to 2 1/2 ton capacity will probably do the trick. Any recommendations?

Good timing as I've been thinking about replacing mine with a lower profile one. The ones at Harbor Freight look like they should be fine but they are made in China. Are there any that aren't made in China that don't cost multiples of the Chinese made floor jacks?

BTW my current floor jack that I purchased from Harbor Freight over 20 years ago still works fine. It's made in China.

I am just a buy-American type. So far this jack looks like it might be a winner. I just love the picture of the little old lady with the blue hair pushing her car around on casters! LMAO. Now that something you don't see everyday.

Which reviews, I'm curious. On Amazon the cust reviews were great. If you have pro review link please send, I'd like to see them (always looking to spend $$$ on tools ;D ) From my perspective it's been great, no issues.

I'm not sure construction in Spain is any better than China or even as good.

Bottom line. - this is the only manufactured American jack maker remaining (Milwaukee).
Interesting read about jacks if you're interested. How sad. This would truly have broken my late father's heart to see what has happened in America.

That looks like the one I have that's branded AC Delco. I bought it at O'Reilly's and I've had it for 3 years now and it's still working fine. I've had 3 Craftsman from Sears that all leaked within a few months of buying them so I gave up on them.

I have the Griots jack, it's great for the shop but taking it to the track it's just too heavy. I need to get another aluminum jack, my harbor freight China model gave up last year but it gave good service for over 10. For changing tires it will be nice and light.

I keep going back and fourth between the one below and the one Pete posted. I've decided I want a lighter aluminum jack. I need to make up my mind soon. Now that my car is lowered my current 20 year old jack from Harbor Freight won't fit under my car.

I like that harbor freight jack 5 pumps under load....nice. my junksman alum jack is a one pump to the saddle but it keeps getting dead spots and leaks. if you get one be sure to let us know how it works

I picked up a pittsburg jack #68050 at Harbor freight. It is a bit heavier but it is ideal for a lowered car. The base is only 1/4 in. off the floor and you only need 2 1/2 in.of clearance and it raises 24 in. It is a 2-ton heavy duty rapid pump and it has a long low base that will allow you to run it under the car 18-20 in.

I purchased this jack and it works fine. Now that my Boss is lowered it slides right under the pinch welds with plenty of clearance. And it's a lot nicer being about 30-40 pounds lighter than my old steel floor jack.

I normally use 2 at the same time--one front and one rear pinch weld--to pick up the entire side since Ford doesn't recommend jacking on the middle of the door, even though some do it.
