New LS Delivery Question

As I will be taking delivery of a 13 LS soon, I would like to find out from fellow forum LS owners whether they are being charged extra to have their Brake duct work and tranny cooler installed at the dealership or is this work supposed to be covered by the dealer within the purchase price of the vehicle?

For the 2012 LS the dealer got a credit from Ford for the installation of the brake cooling duct and the transmission scoop. The parts are also covered under warranty from Ford Racing. I'm sure the same holds true for the 2013 LS.

For mine the dealer indicated that they did not install it nor were allowed to. Not sure if that is really Ford policy or not, but I just installed it all myself.

Based on what DarkHorse indicates you probably should have asked for a credit.

This was the case for me. I politely declined but worked a deal to have some track tires mounted and balanced instead.
