Newbie Here - Looking for a Boss

Hello all. I'm new on the forum - 1st post - and in the market for a 2013 Boss in SBY or GHIG with the Recaros/Torsen option. I've been lurking for awhile to learn more about this great car.

I'm a car guy and have been ever since I was a kid but didn't have the time to really enjoy cars until the last few years. I just sold my current 'fun' car that I've owned for seven years and am now in the market for the cash purchase of a Boss.

If anyone has any tips on good dealers with good deals, hopefully in the western states, I'm interested.

Thanks in advance for your help. I'm looking forward to being around here in the future to continue learning and to contribute once I have my own Boss.

Best get prepared to change your screen name to "gottaBoss" real soon.

The folks here cannot seem to let anybody who posts here go too long without enjoying Boss ownership.

Warn your family the symptoms you will have after you catch own-a-boss fever.

Thanks for the responses.

Mike - I'll wait for your call. Thanks for the tip.

four-walling - I'm ready!

darren - already showing symptoms and no Boss yet. :)

Vito - that's a little further than I hope to go, for sticker anyway. But anything's possible.

A quick search on cars.com shows 120 SBY, including LS, toss out the markup ones ~10, and you will have about 110. 80 GHIG, toss out the ~20 markup listings and that gives you about 170 total across the US. If you have your financing lined up I bet you could make a deal over the phone when you are ready. Once you have a list of the closest dealer you can post for feedback as to which one may be best. But if you won't be dealing with their service dept if they aren't local I guess as long as you get MSRP, how could they screw it up (unless they drill holes in the bumper)?

Can't wait to hear what you eventually get, good luck!
