It's another great Nor Cal event. 8)

This is an awesome time to run "Sears Pt." LOTS of Bosses, Shelbys, and serious Fox bodies mixing it up with some great vintage blue oval iron. Prepare to get your a** handed to you by a Fairmont.

Yup I'm down for it and signed up. This will be my 3rd year attending.

Sonoma is a great Mustang track and I use the NASCAR race as my primer to refresh myself watching their line(s) around the track.

The group also booked a block of discounted rooms at the local embassy suites if you want to overnight it about 20 minutes away- http://embassysuites.hilton.com/en/es/groups/personalized/S/SFORFES-SMN-20140731/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG

Both days should be good. Saturdays are a little wild in the morning as folks get their groove on but after that it's a decent event. You can even roll up for free and check out the car show and a couple of vendors like Cortex.

FYI- if you head up Friday, highway 37 is a real mess from about 3pm on headed over from the 101 side so plan accordingly.

Was another incredible event by the Nor Cal Shelby Club. IMO if you live West of the Mississippi, you should make it to this sometime. The banquet was very cool with Bob Bondurant, Allen Grant, and John Morton reminiscing about their racing days in the 60's for Shelby.

And the track. I'm starting to think it's my favorite track. It didn't hurt that it was 71* at 2pm in August!!!

Here's some pics.
