Anyone using the ford racing FL820 filter? or other high quality filter like amsoil etc..

I have been using the M-6731-FL820 Ford Racing filter, it was pointed out to me that it is the original part for the 302S. I understand there is no plan to make a FR 500S filter since the FR 820S works fine on the Boss.

However if you are not using the the Ford Racing part the FL500S is the correct part numer and I was told not to use the FL820S regular filter.

on all my other mustangs I run the K&N oil filter has a 1" nut on the back for easy on and off. I will be putting one on my boss when its time for an oil change (havent gotten there yet)

I've been using the M-6731-FL820 on all my cars that see "severe duty".I believe the specs of that filter make it the only choice.
