Okay Ford Guys, I pulled this out of the non pump side of the saddle tank of my 2006 Mustang GT. The 4 rubber grommets were just sitting in the bottom of the tank. I think they go in the bottom of the sending unit, but there are only 3 spots for them and I fished out 4 grommets. Anybody shed some light on what is going on here? o_O

I think I figured it out.....After looking at some fuel pumps on line I see that they also have these grommets on the bottom.
My car has a division X e85 return style fuel system so it doesn't use these.
I bet the extra one fell off the GT500 pump that was removed when the Division X system went in and the Tech just left it in there....That at least makes some sense.

Okay, this topic is now officially re-opened:

I got my fuel pump back from Lethal performance and I STILL can't pump fuel from the passenger side of the fuel tank.
Who here knows something about this?

I've yet to fish in my saddle gas tank, but don't you have an internal crossover line? If so, is there a sock on the crossover line that may calapse under suction?

I too would like to know how the crossover fuel system at the tank works. Good post above.

Thanks,

Swiss Boss:

Thanks for the link, good info and maybe it might lead to something for Fabman.

Fabman:
That would do it. Look forward to your findings.
