After all the excitement and discussion concerning the newest track in the Midwest a very good friend of mine sent me three graphs showing the difference in elevation changes for OIR and three well know tracks ---- Eagles Canyon, COTA and Road America. I felt this might help settle why this track is so European in nature and also why it is going to be very difficult to analyze by videos or maps, The folks that went to the track for the " Special " NASA Central Region opening have been pretty vocal , but it it hard for many to understand how dramatic the elevation, blind corners and off camber curves really are. I hope these graphs help everyone out , and I now understand why my good friend Ted said he doubted he could ever instruct here since he lost his stomach half way through the course, ha.graphcopy1.pnggraphcopy2.pnggraphscreenshotatlanta.png

Also , here is a post of the track map , and I think it would be a fair question to ask if there is any other road course in the US with this much elevation change? Especially relavant is that it is also right at 4 miles long!!ozarktrackscreenshot.png
