The HPDE day is run by Tom Pritchett of Turn2Lapping

He does a good job overall; I went last year and will go again this year as I already mailed in my registration. 8)
There was/is a mandatory driver pre-meeting the night before to discuss rules, racing line, etc. Then morning vehicle inspection, then track time with 5 sessions for each group, 2 before lunch and 3 after. Track had flaggers at all locations, and overall was well ordered. As steward Tom is looking for discipline and safety first; and is not worried at all about black flagging folk as he took a guy showing off in his Ford GT for most of the day to get an attitude adjustment. A nice friendly, safe environment for a track day.
