We qualified the 32 car in 3rd but were thrown out in tech. We put duct tape on our brake ducts and imsa says no tape on the bodywork...duct vs bodywork..go figure. We had previously hit the wall in practice along with the multimatic car because of some crap on the track, so if they were worried about aero the right size was wrinkled.
Anyway the 35 qualified in 8th, when they threw the green the 32 went from 23rd to 7th in 4 laps. The car was that hooked up. The 35 finished 20th the 32 finished 2nd. Pics to follow when I get on a real computer instead of my phone.

OK we were fast at Lime Rock but had to start on points and ended up 7th. This time we managed to hit the wall (along with Multimatic) but they did a lot more damage to their car, we were able to fix ours. We qualified 3rd but were tossed in tech for the evil duct tape incident and had to start 23rd. Kurt dropped the hammer on it and rocketed to 7th by the 4th lap..this car was HOOKED UP. Both cars ran well, the 35 caught a pit road speed violation and dropped a lap but still finished 12th. We chased the leaders all day and caught second but ran out of time for the leader. With the amount of time remaining we couldn't catch them but we might have run out of gas so we went into fuel conservation mode..as it turned out we were good.

Practice..

FWIW you can see the (partial) block off on the 35 car in the top photo under the Ford decal, that's what got us tossed on the 32.

Doesn't make much sense as Roush have used similar block offs at Daytona in prior years...but I suppose now this is just another boneheaded IMSA rule call...
