The let me try and drift it.....key word there....try...I am definitely NOT a drifter.

Got to drive each of these. Great group of people! Have a TON of video from this year, including when we slapped my GoPro on the GT350 and they let Brian Deegan take it out!!

Not a pic, but here's a video. Picked the car up on Wednesday, had it at the autocross on Saturday. I'm not the soft break-in type of guy. ;)

Sorry for the crappy video. The GoPro fogged up.

Compared to my 03 Cobra, the car was much easier to drive at the autocross, though it did require a different driving technique. It puts the power down MUCH better and the power steering could actually keep up with the inputs.

I'll be at Sebring with Chin Motorsports at the end of this month, so I'll report back with driving impressions. I can't wait.

Looked like a lot of fun! Were you at an airport? Every year we used to go to a muni airport about 60 miles from here with the Corvette Club. It was a blast......only autox where I've hit a buck 40 ;-) Unfortunately they didn't let us back after a guy let it get away from him (how he managed this we'll never know), paved several taxiway lights and shot through a barb wired fence and totaled his Z06.....also the only time I've seen someone total a car at an autox.

Yep. Brooksville Regional Airport, just north of Tampa, FL. The concrete is starting to chunk pretty bad, but it's a good location.

It was with the FAST autocross guys, which I just started running with. They run the best autocross event I've ever been to. You get about 6 runs, they feed you lunch and you're done by 2pm, all for $45. DriveFAST.org

Awesome! I knew I recognized that Airport ;) I might head to Sebring just to check out the cars this time. My R will likely not be here before that so ;(

What dealer did you get yours from, if you don't mind saying? I'm in St. Pete.

Welcome to TMO (note I almost said BMO :p ). What color R did you order?

Thanks man - been lurking for a while.

Ordered AG with black roof and no stripes....I've changed it a couple of times and honestly, I'm very close to changing to OW with the same config. I do like AG but white is a little more forgiving if I decide to shelf the wheels and go with something different for street duty.....and the wife hates AG. ;)

Ill be at the track next weekend, supposed to be 2 GT350's there. See if I can get some video if they stay in my sights. LOL

Here's some videos of my GT350 around Chuckwalla. First is my best. It was my first time at that track. Plenty of room for improvement. Second is @ArizonaBOSS 's fast lap when I handed over the reins for the last session.

Cool vids. Curious if you just ran the stock alignment, and if so, how did the tire wear look across the width?
