Many of us are sitting on our cash in these uncertain times. For those who have the means, please consider making a purchase from one of our supporting vendors soon:

More info on our site sponsors can be found here:

Small businesses are going to get hard in the coming weeks/months, some will not recover. I don't want to see any of our great vendors disappear when the dust settles. We've got some great shops who have some great products for your Mustang. If you're able to, please head over and buy something from them, even if it's a small purchase. They'll definitely appreciate your business.

Thanks all.

Great thought and having done business with Apex, OP, Vorshlag, MGW , Tire Rack, and Forgeline recently and in the past, I can vouch that we have a solid group of Sponsors on this site!!! Chatted with a couple others on the Forum ( Cortex for instance) and I have been impressed with how responsive everyone is and quite willing to offer help and suggestions to TMO members.

I did not check as George has been there from the start , and there is not a better short throw shifter for the Mustang than the MGW one. Does not hurt that George has owned numerous Mustangs from Boss 302s, to a Boss 302S, some GT 350s and plenty of other Stangs. I have known him for over 20 years and I do not know any after market manufacturer that is as meticulous and, yes, anal, as George Ciamillo. We ( at Woodhouse Dodge ) did easily over 500 short throw shift kits in Vipers and he even worked with our Motorsports Division to continue to fine tune the shifters. I could write a thesis on all the neat ideas and upgrades George did over the years, but it is exactly the same as what he does with Mustangs. He constantly buys new Mustangs , just for the little changes year to year , to perfect or make small adjustments. Those of us who love him think he is nuts, as he does not understand the word perfection, he thinks all of his products can be slightly improved and this never ending quest leaves him head and shoulders above any competition.

I am not sure I am at liberty to discuss some of the companies he builds things for, but I can say there would be some surprises and it would show his level of respect in the US.

Keep in mind MGW stands for Maryland Gun Works , which his father started, but George's love of cars helped him build another component to the company. It isn't hard to imagine the serious specifications someone like Glock would require, but many of the armament manufacturers MGW works with is equally impressive. I don't think they are doing as much Government work as in their early days, but the diversification and new products in both realms ( autos and armaments ) , keeps this little Georgia company rocking and rolling.

MGW was one of the first, if I recall correctly. Now I dont see them on the site. Bummer. I have George’s shifter in the Boss. The 350 seems good as is.

you have a new one with the recall right?

mine is a 2019 with the shifter recall and, let me refresh your memory, i got stuck at marengo guns not being able to go into reverse (so thats when i ordered the mgw).

bill, when i ordered it from their site i put TMO as the “Where did you her about us” to give some credit

George is a bit of a track rat, when he has time, usually running at Roebling Road or Carolina Motorsports Park. Good way to test his products he always told me!

They decided not to going forward. I tried to get them to reconsider. The list of vendors in the link above is the most current list of shops who support us. Maybe letting George at MGW know you appreciated their support of TMO when you order might help them come back at some point.

Very close friend, and have known for over 20 years, and he is a big fan of Mustangs, so letting George know you appreciated his support on TMO and that was a reason for your purchase should be a strong notation given to MGW when purchasing!
