9/11...This probably needs it's own thread but I'll leave it here for now.Funny, today is a carbon copy of 9/11 16 yrs ago...a clear crisp cool Sept. day. I heard at work a plane had hit the World Trade Center and thought maybe a Cessna clipped it by mistake.I left work at 10 to get a haircut & while there learned this was much more than an accident!!! When the second plane hit I knew we were in trouble...BIG TIME! It's amazing how your sense of life changes in a second! First thoughts were getting my family together but that took some time....That's a day I hope I never have to re-live.....

I was back in Hawaii and had the news on for the market open (3:30a HST). My wife and I were scheduled fly out that evening from HNL for BOS/Logan. I'll never forget.

I was on my way to work on Ft. Lewis. Our work got Very serious that day.
One gentleman scheduled to take over our B company died at his desk in the pentagon. His office mate, who I knew personally, was on leave or he would have been sitting next to the first.
I wish our government would take the issues which predates and have remained seriously.

I was getting ready for work watching TV and my wife was pregnant at the time. When the second plane hit lower Manhattan I knew the world would never be the same.

I still to this day grimace when I think about those poor souls who had to make a terrifying choice of either getting burned alive (remember the planes were full of fuel, having just taken off) or jumping from near the top of one of the towers.

Cloudy & showery today & tomorrow...remnants of "Irma" moving thru.What a difference from what Florida got and what we are getting...I'm not counting my blessings just yet...things have a way equaling out! Weekend forecast looking Great...time coming to give my Boss some exercise..............GIDDY-UP!
