At least it's warm and hardly rains...except for this weekend.

Sounds much better than what I got happening now, here outside. Nor'easter..wind gusts now over 60 MPH! umbrellas are useless in this because the rain is hitting you sideways and an umbrella wouldn't last long with this wind anyway. Hopefully this storm will subside over nite without my power going out...Temps in the mid 30's.. might change to snow before winding down.....

I'm sure everywhere has a potential downfall lurking somewhere. Hurricanes, coastal storms, earthquakes, too hot, too cold...you name it. Only one perfect place comes to mind and Adam & Eve booked that one......Grant, Hawaii might be a close second...Why aren't you still there???

I tell everyone the weather is *better* here. In hell. Er, SoCal.

Didn't help that the ONE drag strip on Oahu (Honolulu) closed. I wasn't about to ship my car just to race legally.

Taxes are another story, though. Californians were dumb enough to VOTE for a 'temporary' tax increase. One of the reasons we were looking at moving east a few years ago.

Anyone who fell for that "temporary" tax increase line needs to see me ASAP!!! I'm selling some prime real estate in Florida..Reminds me of a liar running for Governor in CT in 1990. He was adamant about not wanting a state income tax that was on the agenda saying "it was like pouring gasoline on a fire". He got elected because of that stance, but a few months later stuffed that tax down our throats declaring "it was needed". If lying was deadly, we would have no politicians.

Another Nor'easter heading this way for Wed/Wed nite....OH NO!!!! This one will feature more snow than last week's storm..early guessstaments 8 to 14 inches of wet, heavy back breaking snow to clear. Winter just doesn't want to let go! I'll have to air out the Boss tomorrow before things get messy around here.

Third Nor'easter in 2 weeks moving in today with 5"-10" snow expected here...14"plus in eastern CT. This is getting crazy! Had the Boss out yesterday for a nice ride before the impending doom. With the last storm the snow was so heavy ,3 big branches broke off my white pine tree in my backyard , leaving a BIG mess to clean up.Spring is supposed to arrive next week..I Hope Mother nature gets the memo!...More snow so far this March than ALL of February!!!
