That looks surprisingly good. I wonder though if it is actually a Boss or has been converted. Reason being, I would think spraying the whole car, if the engine bay also is gold, would make it more expensive or as expensive as doing this to a GT. Interesting find though.

Tucson 302

2013 Black LS #439
Looks fake to me, they list it as a 2013 but has 2012 stripes and the body molding near the Boss 302 in the stripes is not something I've seen on a Boss

Really cool! I wonder what front fenders those are, look great. Not a fan of the wheels though. Also, wasn't Smokey's car all balck with a gold hood, trunk, and stripes?

I dont doubt that its real considering the car was repainted, once complete, selection of stripe type is up to the owner. The ad also clearly states a fiberglass hood and front fenders. Lastly, the interior trims all look correct, no reason to go out of the way to make a super expensive GT Boss look-alike when you can just get a bargain on a real boss and do the exterior conversion.

Someone ran the VIN and it showed up as a Boss SBY.

Speculation is that this may be a flood car of something else.

Why paint the car those colors?
Why not show the engine?
????

I bought my Shelby from these guys in San Antonio. I might go check it out while on Christmas vacation. They have a yellow 70 Boss well.

Well, as they mentioned, it is a tribute to the original Kar Kraft Smokey Yunick car. http://www.ponysite.de/smokey.htm

I haven't seen this car come up for auction as a damaged car, someone with a CarFax subscription may be able to shed some light in that area.

It is quite likely that they haven't gone to the trouble to pull the motor in order to properly respray the engine compartment, so some mix of SBY and gold is likely to be found.
