Today was one of those true bitter sweet moments. I parted ways with the best car I have ever owned...Project DRKHR5E(2013 Mustang GT) and started a new chapter with a 2017 GT350.

I intend to build and treat this the same way as I did the last project in that I do not intend to do batch changes, instead it will be incremental things and trial and error on track to see what works and what does not. Current plan is to put 500 miles on it, change the oil, then put 1000 miles on it change the oil, and then take it to the track. I am planning on running the car in current configuration, aside from adding safety parts, until I feel comfortable, or feel a change, or something is needed. So far....EXCITED as HELL!!!

I was really happy to see that 2017 brought about some great changes/upgrades, including:
-No longer a Track Package
-MagnaRide, Aluminum Strut Tower Brace, Rear Spoiler, Transmission Cooler, and Differential Coolers are now standard
-Electronics Package(Was an R Option) includes rear camera :)

Model year - 2017
VIN - 523499
GT350 serial# H3260
Build Date - March 3 2017
Electronics Package, Over The Top Racing Stripe
Color - Shadow Black
Stripes color - White

Congrats man. Did you buy it in Alabama? I took mine in for an oil change last week, and saw this in the show room.8e3528cbb7b5e58ab812c678bea61f2c.jpg

Looked on their site, are there ones specific to the GT350 or will the 2015+ Mustang ones work?

All S550 camber plates work on the GT350/R. I have a brand new unused set of MM plates if you're interested. My reason for not using them is because I went with Vorshlag instead. Pm me if you're interested. $225.00 shipped.

I used the technique in the shop manual (service bolts). Got -1.5 degrees. Probably not enough. Got -2 degrees on the BOSS with camber bolts.

By the way, nice talking with you at the Chin event at Barber. If you're ready to get the new car on track, NASA is having an event at Barber this weekend.

Saturday while instructing at NCM Motorsports park, just could not help myself had to at least take the car out on track and see how it felt.
While it look like I am hammering it...I was not1f641.png :( I am still only putting break in miles on the car, so was not above 4500 rpms, or 100mph, and only did 3 laps. Just could not resist being at the track and not at least getting a feel for how the car was. In short though...this car s going to be an amazing car on track, it just wants to turn. I am literally driving it anywhere I can to get the miles...."honey did you get the mail" Hang on I will drive down the driveway and get it!!
