Rear Axel nut

I ordered new rear axel nuts from Ford. This is what I received,the one in the bag. Bigger one came off. I don’t like how small the flange is..

I've used both types and either one is fine. The challenge, regardless of which one you're using, is getting them to turn the full 45 degrees past 100 ft-lbs.
