Good points! I removed them when I added the LCA relo brackets a couple of weeks ago but yesterday was the first time since the installation that I had hit those speeds. I will monitor the situation.

Keep in mind that there is an issue being investigated having to do with rearend noise at speeds around 80 mph. Check the transmission thread. There is a good video. Compare it to your experience. These could be unrelated.

Thank you for that reminder, Jimmy. The noise I am talking about only became apparent while driving in Mexico at some, ahem, elevated speeds. At normal or even slightly above normal speeds, no noise at all. It might just be that the LS tires are super loud as they have worn down a bit and the noise increases at the types of speeds that I am talking about. I didn't notice anything vibrating or rattling.
