My track buddies fully cortex equipped mustang had a catastrophic failure about 10 min into a 3 hour endurance race. Not seen a failure like this before, but this car runs a ford racing 427 cobra jet engine with some 600rwhp and a ton of torque. Its a very fast car with the full setup, SLA, Watts link and torque arm. They will open it up this week but I guess they will only see a whole pile of crunched metal. Any ideas what went? Mechanic thinks it was the Torsen....
