Recaro seat pricing

I have a lead on some Recaros in my area. Is 2500 a fair price?

I think so, if they're in good condition. New replacements would cost over $4,300 if you got the FR seats and new Boss covers.

On a slightly related note...There's a set of '12 LS (w/ red stitching) covers for $500 on ebay right now.

WOW, I contacted Recaro and FP for a replacement set, they got back to me and said, Recaros are not available. I tried our Vendors and they are not available. Well I guess I will check out the overall condition and make choice from there. Thanks Grant302

Yeah, I forgot that FP stopped selling the S197 Recaros. Prices on the covers have gone through the roof. A set used to be ~$1,400 for all the front covers, but now would be over $4k for the front covers alone! You could build it from parts, but the cost would rival a donor car!

Ouch, I hope these Recaros come through for me. If not I'm gonna see if I can wire s550 for my airbags.

I picked up a complete set of Boss front seats a couple of years ago for about 2k so I would hate to see what the prices are like today.

Well, it looks like I scored a set of Boss specific Recaro for 2500. And no shipping. Next is a 4 point and harness then I think the car is track ready. Who has a 4 point laying around
