Ford 20's idea is spot on. Getting rid of the seats could cost you alot more in the future. It is all dependent on the owner, but most seem to find the Recaros to be more comfortable. I have a bad back and I find them really supportive, but everyone's torso/frame is different and what works for one may not for another.
You will likely be able to find seats at a junkyard , ebay, or craig'slist , now or in the future.
