I recently had some work done to my rear suspension and the shop that did the work left the LCA suspension weight off of the passenger side but left it on the side side when they buttoned it all up. Am I safe to remove the weight that is still on the driver side or do I need to add the passenger side weight back? See picture. First is OEM and second is after the 302R LCA install

For what it’s worth I did not even notice that it was left off of one side until I put the car on my lift and I am uncertain as to the purpose of these “weights.”

Thank you

I believe they are on there to dampen vibrations felt by the driver?

mine are still on too, and I want to remove them, but never cared enough to pull them, or do research on them...

I don't recall seeing these on my '12. With all my suspension changes, I wonder if I lost them along the way. I'll have to get under there and double check.

Agree, they are to help reduce NVH. One of mine is off due to WATTS or LCA brackets. One is still on.
If they're in the way of a mod, take them off. Bet you won't know the difference.

Insert 'left nut' joke. :D

Reminds me of the veterinarian that told us he removed all three. ;)
