Removing over axle pipes

Hi.
I have the rear jacked with the suspension hanging. Trying to get the over axle pipes off. Whats the trick? Doesnt seem to be enough clearance to snake them off.

You need a lift. Or cut them off. Some people have been able to jack the car high enough but admitted it wasn't really safe to do.

Yeah i concluded it wasnt possible and stopped trying.

well, that answers a question for me. I am removing my magnaflow competition axleback to try some stock OTA's and GT500 mufflers (catless car, the magnaflow was too much) and was hoping I could do it on jackstands.
