I had a lot of problems with shifting in the first and then it may be popped out Or grind But I just took everything apart and adjusted the Black bolt that you put an Allen head through With the locknut on the other side I just tested it clockwise a bit and it shifts amazing now with no notch in the middle of first

Reverse lock out what is causing GrinDdds but I have resolved it
