Life is short. Live well!
Sorry I'm not good at posting news articles but Google Shelby American and read about the Shelby GT Ecoboost four. Worldwide distribution, 335+ hp, handling and appearance pkg. as always with Shelby it's pricey $24,000 plus the base car but intriguing with the lighter weight.

Let's hope they did their market research on this one. The last 4 banger they did a conversion on sold like 7 cars. But that was a Focus and this is a Mustang, so maybe they'll sell a few anyway.

This might be the article, take a look:

http://blog.caranddriver.com/shelby-american-gt-ecoboost-would-you-pay-24000-for-25-more-horsepower/

This article opens with this daunting question: Would you pay $24,000 for an additional 25 Horse Power?

Excerpt:

"Add it all up, and it’s about $3787 worth of parts. So where is the other $20,208 of your money going? Well, there are some carbon-fiber bits (splitter, hood, and side sills), Shelby GT stripes and badges, plaques for the dashboard and engine cover, Shelby floor mats, and 20-inch Weld Racing wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Oh, and, uh, the cost to put all of this on your Mustang. The kicker: Shelby American goes out of its way to declare that after the build, it “retains all take-off parts.” Wave goodbye to any possible savings from selling the stock wheels and suspension components."

Wow! All that and a bag of chips? I don't know about that, but the revamped 2016 Camaro line up is coming to Chevrolet showrooms in the next month or so, and Chevrolet released the performance specs today. The Pony Wars are really heating up right now. These are truly the good ole days for American V-8 power.
