Wanted to share some info with you guys tracking your cars. One of my good buddies was running a set of replica wheels on his GT350 with poor caliper clearance. Tire debris from the sport cup 2’s would get caught between the caliper and wheel with this as a result.

Definitely recommend you guys reevaluate your wheel selections on these cars. I won’t name the wheel, but many others have experienced the same. Cheaper isn’t always better guys. Spend a little more the first time to be sure you get a proper set of wheels that are safe. I went down this road already myself. Hit me up to start the new year off with a legit set of wheels for your car.

Happy New Years!

Wow. That’s pretty close to do that. Good info to watch out for.

MGW is on and again, no complaints. Definitely a good modification for this platform. The stock shifter feels sloppy after you get used to the directness of the MGW and get it broken in. In comparison, there is no comparison.

Also got some new swag in from by buddy Rick over at TMO, and my buddy Clint at The Snake Pit Speed Shop in Ohio.

Thus far I have had a really good relationship with ZL1 Addons as a sponsor. Been very happy with their products, and my dealings with the owner John. Recently they were the solution to another "problem."
Almost all of us have to deal with the delimma of the front license plate. Some hate it all together, but given my personalized plate I would rather have it visible. I had Craigs custom bracket on my first GT350 and it worked fine. The mounting bracket for that setup attaches with 3M double sided tape. This time around I had my car ceramic coated before I installed the base, and sure enough it lost its bond after a while. The ceramic coating is doing its job, so no discredit to Craig.
ZL1 Addons has a front license plate bracket that screws into the tow hook mount, but I enjoy having the titanium hook on all the time. I figured that there had to be a mounting bracket ZL1 could make that would allow me to put another tow hook bracket on the passenger side for just the plate. Sure enough, I called John and he had one in stock. Apparently Shelby American had requested some custom made pieces for the passenger side, and John had one laying around. 2 days later I had the bracket and got it installed. Now I can run both the plate and hook without issue. Also should I ever have a nightmare scenario that I cant get the car pulled from the driver side, the passenger side is now an option too.
In any case, here are some photos I took if it installed. Car is dirty and the weather was gloomy, but this car is not going to be a garage queen. Enjoy, and call ZL1 Addons direct if you want the passenger side bracket.

Gotta love when a perfect stranger sends you a care package, because owning mustangs made you family. Very generous people in our community. Got these two 36x24 dealership posters sent to me and framed them today. Wife didn’t want them over the bed though lol. Very close to completing the collection. Just a couple other posters out there I think I am missing. Thanks again Jimmy!

Haven’t had time to update much. Not a whole lot happening, but some fun stuff.

Heading to the Raptor Assault in Utah next week. Looks like snow so I can’t wait for that. Anyone else going March 6-7?

Also bit the bullet and bought something I’ve been wanting for a loooooong time. Should be here his weekend.

One more item left to complete the puzzle before Fab Fords and the Buttonwillow track day in April.

The big day is near. Parts should be arriving to my detail partner Imperial Works tomorrow. Got these photos sent over from Carbon Composites by MAD. Who the heck is that you may ask?

As many of you are aware Carbon2Carbon pulled down their online site. Chris owned that company and used it for the GT350 parts. Chris is now consolidating Carbon2Carbon into his pre-esxisting MAD industries umbrella. I will be working with them to launch the new web page, and bring a nice group buy to the site for the spring/summer. Until then, here are some photos of what’s coming :headbang:
