Shift knob alignment

After I had my MGW shifter installed, the knob is now rotated about 15 degrees clockwise. Is there an easy way to shim the knob to get it straightened up?

If you watch the install video, it shows that you just have to loosen the nut at the bottom of the shift, rotate and tighten it after you have the right orientation. Should be towards the end of the video
