Hi, after tracking the car I notice that when I go in reverse I get a unpleasant shuddering groan from the rear brakes. If I dab the brakes, the sound goes away for a second then comes back. Any Ideas?? No affect on braking otherwise.....

Any Ideas??

Was the inner pad lined up properly when installed? The pin on the pad has to line up with the notch in the caliper piston.

Definitely check this. Also, check to make sure that the anti-moan brackets are attached and tight. They don't look like they do much, but they do.

Hook in behind the caliper with a bracket. The bracket is then affixed to the rear axle with a U-bolt. The bracket fits over a welded ridge on the axle.

Look at part #2366 in This diagram

Will take a look at part number 2C366 tonight. Yes I was using Sport mode just recently. I leave it on when going to new tracks as a safety measure on my over exuberance!!

What pads are you using and do they have the springs attached on top of each pad? If not, that what's causing the issue. If you are using Pagid RS-56 I will send you springs if you wish. The springs are typically not included on race pads.

Thats it then! Thanks Pete, we can leave the springs for the next set of pads I get from you!
