Wow, nothing easy about this task. Hard to believe changing a bulb is more work that swapping out a Mustang rear sway bar!
Watched a couple youtube videos, then got to it. Turned the wheels, removed front part of wheel well liner. No way I'm getting to the light socket, so removed the wheel. Barely get hand around the front of window washer fluid bottle, and got the socket out. Can't get bulb out of socket. So remove washer tank bolts and move it to the rear several inches.
OK, now we're getting somewhere. Bulb swapped, checked good, socket installed, everything reinstalled.
I'm not an engineer and realize getting all the pieces/parts designed into a vehicle is a challenge, but bulbs burn out, so isn't it logical to make swapping a bulb a very simple job??????
OK, rant off.
