Spring mount question

I thought they would work. I'm using MM camber plates so I don't know for sure but a few other members have installed the P springs and I don't remember them mentioning them changing the mount.

See post #6 and Jeff just installed the P springs and I don't think he used different mounts. Drop him a PM.

Installed the P Springs and MM Plates last week.

You use the lower portion of the factory mount with the MM Plates. So yes, the springs will fit with the stock mounts.

What you will not have is adjustment for camber and caster. Will you need it??

Save the dawn for your dishes!!!
Are the boss top mounts the same as GT's? Did a spring swap on a 2012 Brembo stang and the things fall apart easily and the little BB's go everywhere. The GT500 mounts dont do this I am told and are an upgrade (cheaper than MM but not adjustable)

The boss and gt strut mounts are the same and will work on the springs. We just did them on a 2013 boss here. If you change the struts then you will have to run a older design strut mount. Most just get the gt500 and be done with it.

If i upgrade to the frpp adjustable m18000 struts and i want use the j&m camber plates with the frpp k springs. Do i need to purchase the gt500 strut mounts to reuse the lower part of it? Or can i use the stock lower strut mounts with thr camver plates?

HEEE HEEE !!!!

Thanks for all the replies. Since I am on a tight budget, how about the stock Boss mounts with camber bolts?? I don't race the thing so I really don't need -2+ deg camber.

You should get away with the standard mounts period. My alignment was so close to spec after changing the front springs, I measured strut location and returned to same location, that no adjustments were needed.

You could try it without the bolts and see.

Good luck. :)
