I would be shocked if the 2015 mustang didn't have a IRS.

However, since all reports are that it will use a modified form of the existing mustang platform, it's hard to see where significant weight reduction is going to come from.

High strength steel instead of the cheap type is the rumor. Also hacking several inches off the rear overhang. The body panels will be all new (other than maybe the roof, since it is the same platform) so they can do all those in the new steel.

I expect the 2015 to look a little different then that picture. If that is it then they screwed up again.
