As a newbie I'm asking what is the problem with the stock Boss shocks? As they are adjustable, what are the settings you guys use for those of you that still have them? Thanks.

I never felt much difference in the OEM adjustable 500A Boss 302 shocks/struts. (LS units are much better)

Switched to Koni Sports and found lots more adjustment and a noticeable difference between 3/4 turn v 1-3/4 turns.

When I had them I used 5/3 settings.

Thanks, for the replys. I feel better that I won't have to replace right away. So even with different shocks, I need to stay with adjustable?

You don't need to stay with adjustable. I have no experience with them, but Vorshlag Bilsteins and Koni Orange are non-adjustable options. My understanding is that Koni Oranges are about the same as Yellows on full soft.
