This, yes?

Will do it in a bit. I have suspicion that my car sits a little low for what it is. Don't know why. Maybe springs are old? Everything works fine so I'm okay with it for now. Guess we'll find out!

For my car, I'm gonna say about 15.25". Front, 16.25". Rear. I did this in a place with a slight incline, so - correct measurement is probably a little more in the front, a little less in the back.

From ground to fender: 27.75" Front, 29" Rear.

Found this on American Muscle:
Measuring from the ground to the fender, below is a list of stock Mustang ride heights (Note: depending on how worn your springs are, your ride height can change):
  • 1979-1993: 26" front, 26.75" rear
  • 1994-2004: 27.5" front, 28.25" rear
  • 2005-2014: 28.6" front, 29.3" rear
  • 2015-2018: 28.5" front, 28.75" rear
Comparing photos before and after replacing the Tokicos with Konis, it looks like the front wheel gap shrinked a bit.

Thanks I’m gonna take measurements the proper way when I get home. I recently discovered that my car is lowered. I was completely unaware. But I noticed that my front spring said. “M-5300-T” I couldn’t find the numbers on the rear coils though, but my ass end sits relatively low so I can only imagine that they’ve been done as well. I just don’t like to presume anything when it comes to what other people do or do not do.
And I just kind of wanted a reference of how much lower my car sits. I know when those springs are supposed to be half an inch in the front and one and a half inches in the back.
I am also still running the factory tire size until my new rims and tires come in.

Fender Apex
Front 27 3/4”
Rear 29 1/4”
This matches up pretty well with my measurements so I guess everything is in order.

T springs? They seem to be pretty common on Bosses from what I've seen. Alot of people seem to like them. I know they sit a bit lower than stock with less rake. Here's a photo of my car sitting side-by-side with a 2013 on T springs.

Yeah, ya never know what kind of magical mysteries you're gonna find when you crack open your used car. I just had to replace an open diff that someone put in my car!

FYI -- if you do want a set of OEM Boss springs, I've found that the rears are still widely available as new old stock in Ford part dealer inventories. As for the fronts, I've only seen them available as takeoff sets from wreck salvage at places like the Parts Farm.

This, yes?

no bottom lip of the rim to fender edge. Gives more consistency. Actual numbers don't matter just the relationships.

How funny - that GHIG 2013 appears to have my old Signature wheels on it! I had sold my Laguna to a friend in Houston a few years ago and he told me he had sold the wheels.

Haha yeah? All I know about them is that he told me they are rare and he got them at a good price. That was the first mod he made to the car after he bought it.

The GHIG in the picture, I know it was bought with low miles and he had to travel a ways to get it. I think it was all stock when he got it aside from the T springs. He added the wheels, did a cat delete and added the quad tip GT500 axle backs.

How does the GT500 axle back sound differ from that of the boss 302?
Down the road, I would like to do some exhaust work to my car. I’d like it to be a little more aggressive sounding but not much because I do enjoy long road trips.
And are there performance games to be made?

I went through several different axlebacks on my 2 Bosses but never the quad tip 2013 GT500s. I did really like the 2011 GT500 axlebacks in terms of sound - deep, throaty, no drone, louder than stock but not stupid - and back then you could get them for sub $300 brand new. My favorite, however, were the Borla S Types. They sounded so fantastic - also deep and throaty but more volume with zero drone or rasp. Absolute perfection with the sidepipes fully open. Man, I do miss that thing now that I think about it!

I’ll be doing the Kooks long tubes with mid pipes that accommodate the side pipes.
thanks for your input! I’m thinking quad pipes out of the back would look pretty sexy!

If you are going long tubes, I think guys with headers were very happy with the GT500 ABs because they toned the noise down a little. As you might know, the Coyotes and Roadrunners are extremely loud with headers so a chambered GT500 muffler seems to be a wise choice.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the GT500 quad tips on a Boss but that's just me being a grouch. Plus you would have to get a new rear valance for your Boss to fit them. They used to sell the mufflers and valance as a kit but it's been years since I've looked.

And just to be clear, the GT500 ABs I ran on my Bosses were the 2011/12 version with the single tip per side just like the OE Boss 302 mufflers. I believe that the 2013/14 GT400 quad tip axlebacks were a little louder when guys put them on their Bosses but it's been so long I can't recall.

Well, with a cat delete they're LOUD. I'd say almost but not quite as loud as a gen 3 with active exhaust in track mode. He's definitely louder than me. Pretty sure he removed his side pipes too. As far as performance gains, I don't think there's much to be gained there, especially for a Boss with side pipes. It's all about the sound. For performance what you'd want is long tube headers. My salvage Boss came with Borla S-Types and that's what's currently on my car. IMO probably the best sounding axle back. I wanted something deep and rumbly, louder than stock but not super loud. I had originally planned to put the regular FRPP GT500 axle backs on my car, but after we first built the car and I drove it home my wife said the Borlas sound awesome. She told me I should keep them and so I did. As far as the GT500 axle backs, they're very civilized IMO. Just a little louder than stock. I like them. But as far as sound goes the Borlas are probably the best. I still have my side pipes btw but you can barely hear them over the Borlas.

Yeah, I think the GHIG car just cut his valence to fit. It looks fine though.

If you want to save money, ask @Mad Hatter about his Kooks long tubes. He used to run them. After they burned out, he temporarily installed a set of Chinese ebay headers and said they worked just as well as the Kooks. He's still running them today I think.
