Stoptech 15" 6 piston -- any issues?

Think you might have some amount of bias issues. I know some upgrade to GT500 rear rotors which is really only a bigger rotor with the same caliper. Lot of work to have to pull axle's and swap brackets just for a slightly bigger rear rotor. What does Stoptech recommend?

Thanks Dave. Great question. I should have called stoptech before posting. They say the system was tested with stock Boss rear brakes and no bias or ABS issues. So I think I'm good to go.

My buddies 2013 put on the 15" Stoptechs, workes great but he has a vacuum problem with a periodic stone hard brake peddle. I think its more related to having a automatic

Thanks. I had the very hard brake pedal problem. Pedal feel was not too bad under normal driving conditions, but was rock hard under track conditions. Turned out to be the vacuum booster -- replaced under warranty.

when I was having my problem, a mechanic said he had seen the hard pedal problem caused in Corvetts by an issue with the ABS module. I don't understand why, but it might be something your friend could look into.

Thanks will do. Have two auto mustangs wirh the same problem, both with brake upgrades and both automatics (heathens!!)

I read somewhere (on TMO) that the hard pedal is caused by the booster check valve, the little plastic deal that connects the vac line to the booster. About $20 at any dealer parts counter
