Take your guesses:

0-60
1/4 mile ET
1/4 mile trap

These would be guesses for a true drag test like in MM&FF (on stock tires) as opposed to the worst possible numbers that will likely appear in R&T.

Here are mine:

4.2
12.2
118mph

4.2
12.1
120 mph

I am surprised that nobody is arguing that a 30HP gain over a GT that typically traps 110 will equal a 112-3 mph trap speed.

Won't the 3.73 gearing help trap speed? My GT500 with 3.73 gears redlines 4th gear at the trap. I think the Boss makes peak hp at 7500 so not sure what the trap RPM would be.

Here's some numbers from a member on SVT with a 2011 5.0 with 3.73 gears. I think he has a Brembo car which has 255 Pirelli's on the rear. His runs were in cool weather with a nice burnout and avoiding water in the burnout box. This might give us a clue on what the Boss might do.

Mods:
*Lethal Performance O/R X-pipe
*Flowmaster Axle-Back
*JLT cai
*Revolution Automotive tune
*UPR upper and lower control arms and Panhard Bar
*BMR lowering springs

1st pass: [email protected] 1.85 60ft.
2nd pass: [email protected] 1.79 60ft.
3rd pass: [email protected] 1.81 60ft.
4th pass: [email protected] 1.82 60ft.
5th pass: [email protected] 1.83 60ft.
6th pass: [email protected] 2.22 60ft.

The last run I tried to get to aggressive with the launch and it spun real bad. Was launching at 2500rpm and seemed to hook real good. I cant believe it pulled 119mph and I was excited about the 1.79 60ft. on stock Pirelli tires.

Unfortunately he doesn't indicate what his power numbers are and may not have dynoed it yet. With the CAI, tune and no cats he could easily have picked up 50-60 hp. All that talk about wheel hop has me nervous...... I don't need the GT500 "experience" all over again. Granted the Boss suspension is supposedly much stiffer and less prone to wheel hop, but we shall see.

Looks like BossFred got the closest on the 1/4 mile and Fangstang got the closest on the 0-60. Actual numbers from the MT test:

0-60 mph 4.0 sec
Quarter mile 12.3 sec @ 115.8 mph
Braking, 60-0 mph 108 ft
Lateral acceleration 0.98 g (avg)
MT Figure Eight 24.7 sec @ 0.78 g (avg)

For reference here's the numbers from a 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS that MT recently tested. The Porsche has a double clutch seven speed tranny and from the numbers got off the line quicker than the Boss but the Boss was moving faster at the end of the 1/4.

Price as tested $115,200
Vehicle layout Rear-engine, RWD, 2-pass, 2-door coupe
Engine 3.8L/408-hp /310-lb-ft DOHC 24-valve flat-6
Transmission 7-speed twin-clutch auto.
Curb weight (f/r dist) 3272 lb (38 / 62%)
0-60 mph 3.9 sec
Quarter mile 12.2 sec @ 113.4 mph
Braking, 60-0 mph 105 ft
Lateral acceleration 1.00 g (avg)
MT Figure Eight 24.3 sec @ 0.76 g (avg)

EPA city/hwy fuel econ 19/26 mpg
