Stud Length for R Spec Project 6GR Setup

I just got some new wheels for my GT350 (Project 6GR 10 Spoke) and when I put them on I noticed I had a TON of unused thread on these skinny open lugs. I’m a total newb when it comes to doing anything myself and I wasn’t sure if I forgot the part where I was supposed to get new studs or it was just the depth perception of the open lugs throwing me off.

In the pics you can see on the tooth pick how much thread is actually in the lug. Please let me know if this looks right or if I need to go get myself some new studs.

Get the opmustang lugnuts.....if you’re not running spacers up front the studs are a waste.

I’ll deal with aesthetics later, I just want to make sure there are no safety issues for my track day next week. Just weird to see so much empty lug.

A good rule of thumb is to have at least much threads engaged at the thickness of the stun. 1/2" stud should have 1/2" of thread engagement, minimum. So, size does not matter, how they touch does. Sort of.
