Neither Watson, Rehagen or Capaldi have the 18mm bar. I have been trying to find one for months with no luck. The new rear bar used on the 2014 302S is 12mm from Watson or Rehagen for $395

You are right, glad I got one last year. Maybe a V6 model S197 has a small bar that could be used. gotta be cheaper than $395.

The earlier V6 with pony package and the GT convertible came with 18 mm rear sway bar
Here is some finds for you:

The question boils down to, will the rear sway bar from early S197s fit the new S197?

Probably all in IMSA and World Challenge.....

So does anyone know if Ford Racings M-5490 front sway bar is stiffer than our Boss 302's front sway bar? What I would really like is to have a front sway bar that on its softest setting would be equal to the Boss's rate, but then much stiffer than the Boss's at it's stiffest rate.

Here's some info which may help you out:

OEM Rates:
Ford 34.6mm hollow (2011+ GT, Brembo, Boss): 436 lbs/in

Aftermarket:
Strano Performance 35mm hollow: 472, 547, 642 lbs/in
BMR-SB022: 441lbs/in - 506lbs/in - 587lbs/in

Looks like most will start stiffer, but BMR has the closest starting point.

Don't know about the Ford racing ones...

Domestic Product

Big fat tires and everything !
I would go with Eibach or Whiteline. Front and rear adjustable sway bar sets. Vorshlag sells both. Call them up ask for Jason and discuss your car, sway bar rates and what you are trying to accomplish. $395 for a non adjustable rear bar? Eibach or Whiteline front and rear set adjustable about $500.

Great info! We need an uncluttered thread or sticky for data like this!

I just received this from Eibach. This is info for this set of sway bars:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/eibach-adjustable-swaybar-kit-1112.html

Front:
OE Bar: 35mm (1.38") tubular (they stated this was a GT bar, not a Boss, but I thought GT's had a 34mm bar?)
OE measured bar rate: 300lbs/in

Eibach bar: 36mm (1.42") tubular and adjustable
Eibach measured bar rates: 3 position adjustable
P1=340 lbs/in
P2=400 lbs/in
P3=450 lbs/in

Rear:
OE Bar: 24mm (0.95) solid (also stated a GT bar, but then again, I thought only the GT500 came with a 24mm bar?)
OE measured bar rate: 134lbs/in

Eibach bar: 25mm (1") tubular and adjustable
Eibach measured bar rates: 3 position adjustable
P1=130 lbs/in
P2=145 lbs/in
P3=175 lbs/in

If one can figure the percentage of increase for the Boss bars over the GT bar, you should be able to see how these Eibach bars compare to the Boss 302 bars. I kinda thought about it and would say the boss's bigger swaybars would translate to 350 lbs/in in the front and 190 lbs/in in the rear using Eibachs measurements compared to Stranos measurements of the same bars. I assume everyone has different ways to measure the strength of their bars.

Your P springs will absolutely handle the R6s and you're going to love them. I run 295/30/18 front and 315/30/18 rear with the FRPP M-18000-C dampers and P springs. I use a 1/8" spacer up front with the hex nut on the sway bar end link ground down past the damper tube. I have the FRPP sway bars (front adjustable on middle setting). Are you sure you can fit that 315 up front? I test fit mine the other day using a 1/4" space and was less than an 1/8" off the damper. That's on an 18 X10.5 +38mm offset Enkei PF01. As far as sway bars, the FRPP will work fine but buy the Steeda mounts for the front bar. I snapped three mounts before going to the heavier billet aluminum one from Steeda.

If you're pushing the fronts out 1/2" with spacers you will really need to compensate for oversteer running square tire sizes. Effectively you're now staggered with the front being wider? You would want to start on the firmest front bar setting and may end up having to go without a rear bar to keep it from oversteering.
