Takata Air bags!

Took the Boss to Ford to get it inspected ,they notified me my car is 1 of the recall cars.They ordered the new air bag and will install it when it comes in.

Wow. Good thing I don't own Takata stock... I wonder if any manufacturers are already switching suppliers.

Someone needs to make a spoof video of an airbag going off, then the guy gets out of the car with metal shrapnel in his cheek, stretching his arms out to the sky while screaming "TAKATAAAAAAAA!"

I got my recall letter yesterday, it says to do nothing right now, Ford will contact me later.

I got my letter for my 2012 a few days ago. Basically says hang tight, we'll be in touch....

The Wife and I got ours in the mail yesterday, Funny though, her's is a 2006 Pony V6, I guess they are going back that far.

For my letter as well. "If your airbag goes off it'll shoot shrapnel in your face. We'll let you know later when we can fix it"

Very confidence inspiring. Glad I have a full face helmet.

I got this notification earlier this week. But no GT350 Track Tour info. Clearly Ford hates me now.
