The Daytona Coupe: A Forgotten Legend

this is one of the best, quick-read, pieces I've seen on this legend.
It really struck a chord for me as I'm a huge fan of both the cobra and the gt40...I, like many others, haven't paid enough attention to this car.
Curiously, it's my son who keeps bring it up when I talk about the great historic Fords and wanting to build a replica cobra or gt40...he keeps saying that the real beast of that era was the Daytona coupe. Thank you Forza.

That's pretty cool. I was checking out the Shelby booth at the Motorsports Reunion and for a meager $179995 you can have your own made of fiberglass or $349995 if you want aluminum. You would have to add your own engine and transmission. It does come with AC, power steering and power windows standard though. ;D
