This looks promising and it sounds good too.
Cool idea and rig.....................try and think of another Crossover/SUV out there in the 40-50K range and it is pretty much devoid of competition and ideas.
BMW, Jeep SRT8 and Trackhawk, Porsche, Alfa QV, Durango SRT8, all are at a much higher price point!
...Might need to get back in an Edge. I kinda miss my previous Sport version.
Interesting. What's coming next? An F150 ST or an Edge RS?
Maybe an Explorer ST/RS? Heh, cars are out of the equation , except the Mustang, so why not go after the markets that are growing?!
I saw the first ads of this over the weekend. Ford Promoting it as a performance vehicle a family can live with.I'll stick with my Boss and our family can ride in the Juke.
Your Juking , er, joking , right!?!
Here is a humorous and more action-filled video. It was first announced in January.
Nice ride. Wonder if the old Wench will let me trade in her 13' Edge limited for this one?
Not if you keep referring to her like that. Lol. Try telling her that '13 is an unlucky number and you shouldn't push your luck anymore.
Wonder if there will be a way to retrofit the Edge ST front Brembos onto a 2016-19 Explorer Sport?
Tyme. once you convince her the ST is safer and more reliable she won't be able to say no.
New video from Ford
Hmmm...................and name the competition is has in this segment at it's price point!? Congrats to Ford Performance for visualizing and producing in a segment others failed to anticipate.
Anyone driven the new f150 5.0 w/10spd? They need to put that drivetrain in the new ranger and freakin lay waste to the mid size truck world.
I just hope this HI-Performance SUV isn't a step toward phasing out the Mustang......They can't be that stupid??????????????
Nah. Going from 2 usable seats to 6 is too far for even Ford to venture.
But the Edge is only a 5 seater, IIRC.
I don't think the Mustang platform is in any near term danger.
Grant , I hope you're right! A performance car like the the Mustang will always be wanted! A SUV with higher HP is a different story.
