You knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Sooner it is. 900 HP and 1,000 ft lbs of torque! https://autoweek.com/article/sema-s...ustang-1000-lb-ft-torque-and-six-speed-manual
Lol! Nice to see that Ford followed in my footsteps.... They used a Calimer Stage 3 MT82! Just kidding, but it did make me feel good. PS. But it is a Calimer stage 3 just to be clear
I like a V8 and the rumble that comes with it!..Just for that I'm sticking with my Boss until further notice!!!...which was the plan all along....
There's always people who either like the old stuff, or don't like the new stuff. I'm sure a lot of people back in the day preferred to stick with the horse.
That's quite a choice there...I'm old school, so the selection is easy for me..................one way or the other...
I have a few $$$ laying around to buy it if it were for sale. I like it. She'd look good sitting next to Sweet Lorraine. Okay, so I'm pretty sure $20.00 won't buy it but I am digging it BIG TYME!
Actually, electric motors are so quiet you'd probably be hearing the gear whine that is usually covered up by the engine noise...
I think it was mean on Ford’s part to make that just to show what was possible, but then give us an electric “Mustang” SUV instead
"They" will sugar coat it any way "they" can.............said the inspired Boss Mustang fanatic....................
Actually, a electric Mustang with the Calimer Stage three will be making all kinds of interesting gear whine sounds. Might be a way to keep the petrol heads happy Lol!
I'm surprised they bothered to put a transmission in it. It certainly would slow it down in a quarter mile run for instance.
Must have been to keep things simple... Or more likely just wanted to have fun... Certainly does not make sense with a electric motor.
Not a bad idea to have the trans while "Transitioning" the public. How many of us have said the level of enjoyment goes up when you have three pedals?
