Dig!! tunnels can make great shops!

That's true - one of our neighbors next to our last house dug out a wine cave in his property's hillside. Above it was a small gentleman's vineyard. It was really cool, literally and figuratively.

I'd LOVE to have Elon's Boring Machine come and just dig a 200 foot tunnel into my hillside. But, seriously I think often about a big retaining wall for one side and build an expensive shop. I would think the retaining wall would be $300-$400k which would make the shop pretty expensive.

I've got some extra retaining wall blocks I won't be using if you need them

I have a similar project in our backyard. I'd love to get an excavator back there and remove tons of dirt (literally). But I'd then need an expensive retaining wall.
