Agreed.

I think Ford made a HUUUGE mistake by showing us that/those prototypes and then releasing a really watered-down version of the car. I would have bought one that looked anything like the prototypes.

I finally saw a 2015 Mustang outside of an auto show. It was a rental. Figures.

Here is my take now that I've seen one in the wild: This is the 1970 to 1971 transition all over again. Bigger, heavier, lots of swoopy lines and creases, more "luxurious", and frankly, less desirable in my opinion. They will sell loads of them to women, because that is clearly who they are targeting. Just like 1971.

I'm sure glad I have the Boss.

Has anyone actually driven one yet, the ecoboost is extremely fun.

No on the driving, but there were a handful at Cars n Coffee last Saturday. A Comp Orange Ecoboost looked pretty good to me.

But the biggest disappointment was that the base rear brakes are solid rotors uke:

So for any track duty, you need to get one of the performance packs.

I have not seen one in the wild yet but I might see one this Saturday at a C&C I'm going to. I'll for sure see one next week at the LA Auto Show. Hopefully one wilth CFC parts a FPC and 550+ HP.

I wouldn't go as far as saying better than this or that, but the Mustangs of 2005 - 2012 did it for me...
