After performing dismally at the last autocross event, I’ve elected to remove the electric power steering pump setup. There wasn’t enough line pressure to brake and steer simultaneously which led to hilarious antics with ambient temps around 35° on very cold pavement.

So, I am replacing it with a traditional, hydraulic type from KRC Power Steering.

Love the car , brings back memories of my 97 White Cobra and my 99 White Cobra , both solid autocross machines back then and have to believe , like yours, they would still be contenders in CAMT. What are going to run ( tire wise ) for this Season's cone killings?

The car is much faster than the driver but I’m progressing with every event. 😎 This season, I’m running a set of Federal RS-Pro 275/35r18’s. My thought was to learn the car on “cheap 200 tread-ware tires” before stepping up to, say, BFG Rival or A052s. I’ve had the phrase “high quality tires can mask bad driving habits” in my mind since I heard it many years back and I took it to heart.

Burn up those cheap air filled donuts when you go to NOLA. My motto is , high quality rubber can help you spend more time on course, go deeper into the corners and penetrate the curves with more authority. I heard that many years back and I took it to heart, hehe!
