Anyone familiar with Titan7 wheels. Curious of your experience with them. Are they durable and work well for track tires. I have the original wagon wheels for my street tire. They are forged and lightweight and have the 5 spoke split design.. Thoughts?? I and have access to a set for my Boss.

They’re popular with the import guys in SoCal, but I’ve seen them used on a C7 Vette that was tracked. I think they’re a quality wheel, just not that popular with the Mustangs for some reason.

Depends on which Apex wheels, cast or forged. I wouldn't expect a cast wheel to hold up to a forged one.
I did a pretty good job of bending 3 of my Forged SM10 bronze 18x11 wheels last time out at Eagles Canyon. Yes I was riding curbs, but nothing that made me think crap I’ve bent a wheel. There’s a reason Apex have started making an ‘Enduro’ line.

This is the worst of the three, but check this out:

Ouch- Yeah that's pretty bad. I pulled the trigger on the Titan7 wheels. So far I'm impressed. They weighed in at 20 lbs. They were 51.5 lbs with a 295 40 18 tire. Lightest wheels I've found. They are 18x10 but I'm good with a 295 35 18 squared set up with AO52s for now.

Just asked about pricing and a few other things like finish and the process to get 5 orders in.
Only downside is that the wheels won’t be hubcentric and will require centering rings. That might be a deal breaker. However the price is very very attractive.

Just to save anybody the research:
Motorsport-Tech can manufacture custom spacers that will be hub centric to the hub AND the wheel. below is a screen shot for 25mm spacer 70.5mm to 73mm bore.

They also sell rings that would be required for the rear wheels at $55 for a set of 4.Screen Shot 2024-07-08 at 11.25.44 AM.png

Again, might be a deal breaker but just including what will need to be done
