Been digging in the archives , but can not seem to find any information on a tow hook that is available that does not involve drilling through the bumper. Looking for something that attached to something underneath ,existing bolt, etc. Appreciate it if anyone has heard of anyone carrying said product??

These are manufactured/sold by BMO member "pufferfish".

We installed one on Tucson302's car back in February and it was pretty simple. There is also a version with integrated splitter rod brackets.

Edit: I assumed you were talking about the front--for the rear I think all the options out there require you to drill/cut.

Dats the one I have. All the rears (that I've seen) require cutting.

Thanks so much. I had remembered seeing something quite a while back, but could not find it , even after extensive searching.

Really , really appreciate the help!!

I'll need to order one soon. For most of you who have these tow hooks, are you doing just the front, just the rear or both? I like this one for the front because it bolts on but would rather not do the rear unless the benefits far out-weight the changes needed to the rear bumper and body.

No sweat Bill!

TymeSlayer: I used Cooltech's hooks and did both front and rear...but that's because both were required for NASA race tech. If you're doing TT or HPDE I think the Blowfish setup is the way to go.

Blowfish is the way to go to avoid drilling or cutting front bumper painted parts. I think the lower grille still needs to be trimmed for the '13s.

For the rear, Cooltech's hook goes in the unpainted rear valence trim on the '12s.

I have steve's setup on the front of my boss. great because it doubles as your strut mount for splitter. slight cutting of lower grill is required but a grill is much easier to replace than the entire painted bumper.

Bought the lower front grill from a gentleman on BMO and it has the tow hook cutout. Tyme to give Blowfish a little business.
