Considering a 5.2 with one of the CPC/FPC crank options? A NA build would be amazing. Would be a great fit in that chassis.

That was my original plan but it would require ring and pinion change on the Ricardo. The original GT drivtrain is crazy heavy but "plug and play". It has good power and dry sump setup. I could have used a Graziano transaxle but that would need gear swaps too.

That GT build is going to be HOT! Please keep us posted on the build.

I was thinking a Ford GT with the voodoo would be great. Where did you find the chassis?

You can still buy the chassis from Ford Performance.
A 5.2 would be a great option but adding dry sump and mating it to a proper transaxle is spendy. The original drivetrain has all that sorted out.

But just think of the fun that motor would be in there. :). Oh if I had the extra cash and space to build one of these babies. Your in Detroit area right? At M1? I’m in GR. It would be fun to help working on it sometime or stop in and check out the toys. I right now live vicariously through your builds. My GT350 is still my warm weather daily and HPDE car.
