Running the Albins as a transaxle? Hello better weight distribution!

Yes, that's a great idea. Has anyone done this in a Mustang?
When I was young I worked at Gyro Motors in Toronto and drove many Alfa Romeo GTV's with the rear trans axle. They handled really well.

GM's been doing it with the 'vette for quite a while. That car has really good weight distribution for a front engine car. My gf's C6 'vette is 330 lbs lighter than my 'stang and the weight is better placed.
